Girls Getaway

Weekend-Away-in-a-Day

Saturday, January 30, 2010

Relax, rejuvenate, rebalance and pamper yourself in uninterrupted girlfriend time at Lokahi Garden Sanctuary during the Girls Getway, Weekend-Away-in-a-Day. Participants describe the experience as “divine”, “perfect”, “a day of total comfort” with a “welcoming feeling”.

Be nourished by food, libations, nature, guided relaxation experiences, spa/massage/salon treatments and women-only time.

There will be hammocks strung in quiet places awaiting your arrival. On our 10 acre botanical sanctuary and organic farm with a lovely custom built home, enjoy sweeping views of the deep blue Pacific ocean and the island of Maui. The green rolling lawns, tropical hardwood and medicine tree forests, walking trails, resting spots, swings, hammocks and a seven circuit labyrinth all add to your total enjoyment. Here we will host your indulgences in refreshing and relaxing beverages such as mimosas, champagne, wines, fresh juices and herbal teas fresh from our garden. A delicious chef-prepared gourmet lunch of local and organic cuisine including fresh produce from Lokahi gardens will be served with wine, iced herb garden tea, and hot teas.

Women can enjoy being guided in Yoga, Pilates, meditation, a labyrinth walk and garden tours -- and are encouraged to do as much or as little as they choose. Girlfriends, mothers and daughters and any woman in need of some “me” time to get back in balance are invited. These indulgences are included in the registration fee.

This off-the-beaten-path retreat also features resort-caliber optional spa and salon treatments that can be purchased at a reasonable price. For example, “The Tuberose”, is a combination of a full body massage, botanical facial, foot scrub and reflexology treatment. Women are invited to end their day with wines and chocolate-dipped fruits. A fresh aromatic bouquet of culinary and aromatic herbs from Lokahi Gardens will be your gift to take home with you.
